AccuPlace APAC assembling breakthrough Sleep Apnea Device.

Sleep apnea is a challenging condition that affects nearly 50 million people in the United States alone.  As well, current bulky uncomfortable treatment options make sleeping through the night difficult. 

The new technology involves a proprietary design using a die-cut micro valve that is very fragile and difficult to handle.  This is where AccuPlace's patented peeling technology and experience in assembling fragile parts with high accuracy were called upon. 

"Having spent over 20 years in the medical device industry, it is always rewarding to make change that positively affects people's lives.  A good night's rest does just that", says AccuPlace General Manager Hamid Shahrestani.  The AccuPlace robotic APAC machine will be assembling completed devices that include two die cut parts and two plastic housings.

The process involves accurate assembly, vision inspection, and performance testing and verification.
